YenPress Announces Six Light Novel and Six Manga Titles at Digital Anime Expo Event; including Reign of the Seven Spellblades

Following on from last week’s new title announcements American based book publisher YenPress took part in the digital Anime Expo event to announce even more new additions to their line-up, including an art book of the Overlord anime series.

A breakdown of what was announced can be found below:

Art Book:

• Overlord: The Complete Anime Artwork Collection: A deep dive into the planning and making of the Overlord anime that showcases the details behind the settings, outfits and accessories that breathed life into everyone’s favorite not-so-good guys.

Light Novel:

• King of the Labyrinth: On the tenth floor, many a brave adventurer has challenged the powerful minotaur, and all have failed. The mighty creature pursues strength at any cost and may one day surpass the rules of the labyrinth itself!
• Unnamed Memory: Love can bloom in the strangest places… A cursed king and the world’s strongest witch are about to cross paths, forever changing their future and the fate of the world!
• Reign of the Seven Spellblades: The new school year at Kimberly Magic Academy has begun. Oliver must form a bond with the katana wielding Nanao if he’s to survive the dangers he’s to face at this school that is anything but what it seems!
• The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten: Amane lives next door to the most beautiful girl in school, but they’ve almost never spoken…until the day he lends her his umbrella. From there a relationship slowly begins to blossom…
• The Place Promised in Our Early Days:  A novel adaptation of the film by Makoto Shinkai. A tale of two childhood friends who find each other to search for a missing third friend—and possibly save the world in the process.
• The World’s Finest Assassin, Reincarnated in a Different World as an Aristocrat: Reborn in another world with modern-day knowledge and magic and techniques of his new world, our hero (?) may become the most unstoppable assassin in history!

Manga:

• A Witch’s Love at the End of the World: In a school for witches, Alice finds her world upside down when Mari, a magic-less human, enters the school…and her heart…
• Eniale & Dewiela: From the creator of Witch Hat Atelier is the tale of an angel and devil wreaking havoc on the world with their wild hijinks—from wrecking New York for some famous cosmetics or sinking Tokyo thanks to a zombie outbreak!
• Mieruko-chan: When a girl sees horrific creatures that can’t be seen by ordinary people, she doesn’t run away or confront the creatures…she simply tries to live a normal life!
• Slasher Maidens: From the artist that brought you Akame ga KILL! comes an action-packed supernatural manga. When Asuma transfers to an all-girls school, he discovers that the school is actually a front for an anti-Kaijin special agency!
• Strawberry Fields Once Again: “I’ll never have a 3D romance!” is what the otome game-loving Akira says…until a new transfer student declares that she’s her future lover! Now begins the story of two girls who are more than friends but less than lovers!
• The Vampire & His Pleasant Companions: A vampire from Nebraska named Al finds himself in Japan under the care of a dark and mysterious man covered in a bloody scent beginning this strange and sexy tale!

Titles announced as part of the event are planned for a 2021 release onwards and while all of the titles listed above have been confirmed for North American release it is expected that they will also be made available in the UK through the usual outlets.
