You better believe it, and yes that pun will be used a lot for this piece of news, as FUNimation have today announced that Naruto Shippuden and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, in both sub and dub format, will be added to the streaming platform FUNimation NOW in July. The original series meanwhile, Naruto, is already available to stream in dubbed and subtitled formats on the platform for subscribers.
In this case all 500 episodes of Naruto Shippuden and 51 episodes of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, will be added to the streaming service in July, and details about each series can be found below.
Naruto Shippuden: Naruto Uzumaki is back! After two and a half years of training on the road with Jiraiya of the Sannin, Naruto is back in the Village Hidden in the Leaves, and he’s ready to show off his new skills. He and Sakura team up to take on their old master Kakashi, who’s impressed with their progress. They’ll have plenty of opportunity to put it into action when news arrives from the Sand Village that Gaara, Naruto’s former rival and now Kazekage of the Sand, has been kidnapped and the culprits are the very same group who are after Naruto–the Akatsuki!
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations: Meet Naruto’s son! His name is Boruto and he’s just like his dad—unfortunately. He’s rambunctious, rebellious, and more than a handful! He’s joined by the next generation of the Hidden Leaf Village—including Sarada, the daughter of Sasuke; and Mitsuki, a shinobi of mysterious lineage! Boruto and his friends have their hands full when they investigate a dangerous entity known as “The Ghost.” Can Boruto save the village just like dad?
Manga Entertainment (Manga UK), who are now part of the FUNimation group, have previously released Naruto and Naruto Shippuden on DVD in the UK and are currently releasing Boruto: Naruto Next Generation in part instalments, with the fourth part of the series (which brings the episode count up to 51) being released this August on DVD and Blu-Ray.
