Crunchyroll to add Air Master & Kira Kira Pretty Cure A LA Mode for UK Streaming

Crunchyroll have today announced through a video on social media that TOEI Animation’s 2017 anime series, Kira Kira Pretty Cure A LA Mode, and 2003 anime series, Air Master, will be added to the streaming platform for UK and North Ireland viewing later this month. In addition of a selection of titles licensed on home video in the UK by Anime Limited, such as Blood Lad, K: Return of Kings and Mobile Suit Gundam: Reconguista in G, will also be coming to the platform later this month.

Air Master: A former gymnast, Aikawa Maki has turned her skills to a different way of life—street fighting. The only thing that truly makes her feel alive is violence. With amazing power and grace, she fights opponent after opponent, repeatedly demonstrating the gymnastic talent that earns her her nom de guerre, “Airmaster.”

Kira Kira Pretty Cure A LA Mode: Determined to protect the sweets, Ichika gains the power of the Legendary Patisserie and transforms into the Pretty Cure, Cure Whip, to protect the kirakiraru. Joined by five other Pretty Cures, Ichika opens up the mobile sweet shop, Kirakira Patisserie, and spends her days making sweets while fighting against those who seek to steal kirakiraru and bring misfortune to the world

Blood Lad: Werewolves, zombies, and even the Abominable Snowman fight day and night for the title of Territory Boss. The vampire Staz, however, finds the whole thing to be a serious pain. K: Return of Kings: Following the events of K Missing Kings, the Green Clan JUNGLE has been spreading its influence, causing friction with the Red Clan HOMRA and the Blue Clan SCEPTRE 4. The war escalates when the Green King, Nagare Hisui, sends his men to attack Kuro and Neko, forcing the return of the Silver King, Yashiro Isana. Reunited with his friends, Shiro reveals his plans for dealing with the Green Clan an alliance of the Red, Blue and Silver Clans! But the Green King carries his own wild cards! Will the combined power of three kings be enough to stop Nagare Hisui from fulfilling his dark ambitions?

Mobile Suit Gundam: Reconguista in G: The turbulent era known as the Universal Century has ended. Now, mankind looks towards prosperity and peace in the new era known as the Regild Century (R.C.). One of the most important resources in this era is the Capital Tower – a space elevator which towers over the land connecting Earth to space. Its purpose, to transport the Photon Batteries the Earth relies on for power. It is worshipped as a holy place. Tasked with protecting the tower, one day on a practice mission, young Capital Guard cadet, Bellri Zenam is attacked by a high-performance G-Self mobile unit. Despite having never before encountered the G-Self unit, he feels a strange connection to it and its pilot, a space pirate called Aida Surugan.

Tokyo Ghoul: Root A: In modern day Tokyo, society lives in fear of Ghouls: mysterious creatures who look exactly like humans — yet hunger insatiably for their flesh. None of this mattered to Ken Kaneki, a bookish and ordinary young man, until a dark and violent encounter turned him into the first ever Ghoul-human half-breed. Picking up where the first season left off Ken continues onwards into the dark world he has found himself in.

Wolf’s Rain: Kiba, a lone wolf, wanders into a poverty-stricken city on a quest. The scent of Lunar Flowers and the will to find Paradise is all he has. Along the way, he runs into other outcast wolves Tsume, Hige, and Toboe, each with their own story and troubles. Fate bringing them together, they seek out the Flower Maiden, Cheza, and their way to Paradise. But, doing so is no simple matter. Up against a world that fears them and a man with mysterious abilities, their journey is overrun with challenges and worse sacrifices. With limited time, they must fight to protect Cheza against everyone who seeks her and discover the hidden path to their destiny.

All of the titles listed above are expected to be made available on Crunchyroll during the course of July, with additional details – such as audio options – to be confirmed at a later date. Titles licensed for home video in the UK via Anime Limited are still available to purchase on Blu-Ray (and DVD where relevant) within the UK.
