Screen Anime UK June 2020 Titles Confirmed

During the Screen Anime panel at last months Cloud Matsuri event distributor Anime Limited confirmed that the subscription based service would receive a selection of new films on a monthly basis, with highlights for June being Makato Shinkai’s Weathering With You and Your Name.

What wasn’t announced however was the TV Series that would be coming on to the service, and today Anime Limited have confirmed the ‘full’ selection of movies and shows available to view on the service from the 25th June 2020 as well as the relevant bonus features. From the 25th June 2020 the current selection of films available on Screen Anime will be replaced with the following

Films:

• Anthem of the Heart [Bonus: An article exploring the film]
• Fireworks [Bonus: Behind the Scenes with English Cast]
• Weathering With You [Bonus: An introduction, and Q&A, with director Makoto Shinkai]
• Your Name [Bonus: To Be Confirmed]

TV Series:

• Silver Spoon – Season 1

All of the available films and TV series will be presented in the same audio and subtitle options as the home video releases.

In addition to the confirmed selection of films Anime Limited also confirmed that a ‘viewing party’ for Weathering With You and Your Name will take place on the 2nd July 2020 at 7:30pm. Additional details for this viewing party will be shared through the official Screen Anime channels.
