March Comes in Like a Lion and Your Name Added to Netflix UK

A new month means fresh-new content on Netflix UK and today subscribers will be able to enjoy Shaft animation’s animated TV series March Comes in Like a Lion as well as Makoto Shinkai’s feature length film Your Name.

Both titles are available in subtitled and dubbed format, with Your Name also dubbed in French, and It’s also worth noting that Your Name is presented with its original ‘Japanese background music’ variation. Those might recall that RADWIMPS, the band that preformed several songs for the film, produced both English and Japanese versions of the songs and as such two variations of the background music were produced for the Blu-Ray and DVD release of the film. This meant fans could watch the film in Japanese but with English background music, in Japanese with Japanese background music, in English with English background music and in English with Japanese background music. For this Netflix presentation the film is presented in English and Japanese with Japanese background music.

March Comes in Like a Lion: Orphaned young, a reclusive 17-year-old professional shogi player starts to come out of his shell when three sisters take him under their wing.

Your Name: A bored girl in the countryside starts sporadically waking up in the body of a city boy who’s living the exciting life she’d always dreamed of.

Both March Comes in Like a Lion and Your Name are available on DVD and Blu-Ray in the UK via Anime Limited, with Your Name also being treated to a Collector’s Edition and Steelbook Edition release. Your Name is also planned to be added to Screen Anime UK, the new festival styled subscription service from Anime Limited, on the 24th June 2020.

As per usual in order to watch content on Netflix UK a stable internet connection is required along with a valid subscription but newcomers can try the service for 30 days before becoming a paid member.
