Limited Run Games To Release Physical Edition of CLANNAD on Nintendo Switch in the West

Limited Run Games have recently announced a partnership with Sekai Games and Prototype in order to release a physical version of their Nintendo Switch game CLANNAD; a visual novel that was originally released digitally only in the west.

CLANNAD will be available in both standard edition (priced at $49.99) and collector’s edition (priced at $89.99) variations of the game with a limited number being produced (but it is not a strict printed number like traditional limited run editions). The Collector’s Edition will feature the game, visual book and an arranged soundtrack collection; all of which will be presented in a collector’s styled box.

The contents of this physical edition of the game will be exactly the same as the digital edition of the game as well as the original Japanese release of the game (which features English localisation and is the same game that was released in Europe and North America digitally).

Pre-Orders for these editions of the game will be today (14th April 2020) from the Limited Run Games website and will remain available to order until stock has been depleted. Both editions are expected to be available to pre-order from 14th April 2020 until 29th May 2020; so the product will most likely ship after this date.

CLANNAD is available digitally from the Nintendo eShop worldwide and is also available to purchase physically from Japan; with the physical Japanese release also containing English localisation. CLANNAD is also available for the PlayStation 4 and STEAM; but only a Nintendo Switch edition is planned for the Limited Run Games release.
