Arc of Alchemist To Receive Physical Release on Nintendo Switch via Limited Run Games

Publisher Idea Factory International have once again teamed up with Limited Run Games to offer Nintendo Switch fans the chance of securing a physical copy of Arc of Alchemist, which was originally a digital release within Europe and North America, from the Limited Run Games store.

Pre-orders for this ‘not-so-limited but limited-print-run’ edition of Arc of Alchemist will begin on the 31st March 2020 and it will offer the same content as the previously released digital edition of the game; the exception being that it is on a physical cartridge and comes with some lovely artwork. Limited Run Games do ship worldwide; but the packing is tailored to the US market with an ESRB logo being printed on the box. A physical version for the PlayStation 4 is also being produced in North America, and this will be made available through the Idea Factory Online Store; while in Europe a physical version is already available through the UK distributor REEF Entertainment.

In addition to the physical availablity for Arc of Alcemist Idea Factory International have also reminded people of some free content that is available to download from the Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Store:

The 8 AOC/DLC includes:

  1. Super Powerful NG+ Package
    • 3 new weapons and 3 weapon skins.
    • Two new costumes for each of the 10 playable characters
  2. Special Weapon: Beam Katana
  3. Special Weapon: Superior Spear
  4. Special Weapon: Histoire
  5. Special Weapon: Natural White
  6. Special Weapon: Beam Dagger
  7. Special Weapon: Shiitake
  8. Special Weapon: Dogoo Plushie

The North American and European releases for the Nintendo Switch and PS4 included updated system features and the ability to choose and play between 7+ possible characters.​

Arc of Alchemist is available digitally for the Nintendo Switch as well as physically and digitally for the PlayStation 4 within Europe; whereas in North America the game was only released digitally across both platforms.
