Little Busters Converted Edition To Release Digitally This April on Nintendo Switch within Europe

PROTOTYPE’s enhanced Nintendo Switch port of the visual novel Little Busters, known as Little Busters: Converted Edition, will release digitally onto the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop within Europe on the 23rd April 2020.

Previously Little Busters: Converted Edition was announced for a Japanese release, with the Japanese version also featuring English text localisation, but just like with PROTOTYPE’s previous visual novel release of Clannad the game is being quietly released onto the Nintendo Switch in European and North America regions. Sadly unlike the Japanese release, which will be a physical and digital release, this western release will be a digital only release priced at £40.49 / €44.99. The Nintendo eShop listing can be found here (and is also available to view on the Nintendo Switch console).

The aspect of stealth-publishing visual novels into Europe and North America seems to becoming a trend as not only did it happen with Clannad but it also partially happened with Circle Entertainments western release of Maitetsu: Pure Station.

Regardless; this digital release of Little Busters: Converted Edition, a visual novel which inspired the JC Staff anime adaptation (which is available on DVD and Blu-Ray via MVM Entertainment in the UK) will be available on the 23rd April 2020 via the Nintendo eShop and is priced at £40.49 / €44.99.
