Persona 5: The Animation – The Day Breakers OVA Listed for April Blu-Ray Release

The OVA episode that recreates the Persona 5 experience in anime form, known as Persona 5: The Animation – The Day Breakers, will be released on the 6th April 2020 on Blu-Ray via Anime Limited, that is according to updated product listings on Amazon UK.

Back in 2018 Anime Limited did announce that they had licensed Persona 5: The Animation – The Day Breakers and Persona 5: The Animation for UK release in the future; and now after nearly two years of silence Persona fans can expect the first of two products to be released soon in the UK. Persona 5: The Animation – The Day Breakers will be a standard edition Blu-ray release and be presented in Japanese with English subtitles.

For those confused Persona 5: The Animation – The Day Breakers is single-episode OVA that was released before Persona 5 was released in Japan and features a glimpse of what the Persona 5 game will offer and the characters that players will interact with. Persona 5: The Animation meanwhile, of which has yet to receive a release date or any mention since the series announcement in 2018, is a recreation of the game in anime form.

Persona 5: The Animation – The Day Breakers is currently listed on Amazon UK. for standard edition Blu-Ray release on the 6th April 2020; but, as far as I can tell, an official release date announcement has yet to be made by Anime Limited.
