Anime Limited to Release Anonymous Noise and Never-Ending Man: Hayao Miyazaki in April

Anime Limited have announced on social media that two out-standing, and relatively unspoken, releases will be coming to home video this April as both Anonymous Noise and Never-Ending Man: Hayao Miyazaki will be available on Blu-Ray from the 13th April 2020 within the UK.

Ryoko Fukuyama’s anime adaptation of the manga series, Anonymous Noise, was originally announced as a title license back in 2017 while the documentary of Hayao Miuazaki, known as Never-Ending Man: Hayao Miyazaki, was licensed back in 2018. Since then neither title has been mentioned as part of a ‘release schedule’ but during the course of the weekend Anime Limited revealed plans to release both next month; specifically on the 13th April 2020.

Anonymous Noise: Six years ago Momo taught Nino the joy of singing from her heart. When Momo’s family moved away without warning, Nino found herself lost and adrift. Until she met Yuzu, who also had a musical gift that he shared with her until he was suddenly gone as well, leaving nothing but the memory of his music. Before they disappeared, both Momo and Yuzu said the same thing- that Nino should keep singing, because that was how they’d find her again. Now, as Nino starts high school, their paths are all about to cross again. But while Nino has kept singing and remembering how things were, Momo and Yuzu have changed. Now it may take a miracle to bring them back together when a triangle becomes more than a musical instrument in ANONYMOUS NOISE.

Never-Ending Man: Hayao Miyazaki: In 2013, Academy Award-winning (2014: Honorary Award; 2002: Best Animated Feature, Spirited Away) film director and Studio Ghibli co-founder Hayao Miyazaki, creator of such legendary films as Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro, suddenly announced his retirement. But still he couldn’t shake his burning desire to create. After an encounter with young CGI animators, Miyazaki embarks on a new project using these techniques. But the artist, who has been adamant about hand-drawn animation, confronts many challenges that threaten to cancel the film. Can an old master who thinks he’s past his prime shine once again? Shot over two years, Never-Ending Man: Hayao Miyazaki provides a unique, fascinating glimpse into the mind and creative process of one of animation’s most iconic storytellers.

Both titles are currently available to pre-order from the Anime Limited website, with retailer listings also expected to appear shortly, and are both expected to be released on the 13th April 2020.
