Pokemon: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution Now Available on Netflix UK

Those wishing to watch the latest, and first CG, feature-length Pokemon film, in the UK will now be able to do so as the film Pokemon: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution is now available to stream on Netflix UK; and even more importantly is available to watch in both English and Japanese – which is a first for a western release of a Pokemon film.

The availability of Pokemon: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution, which is of course a CG remake of the first Pokemon movie, in English and Japanese is an interesting piece of news; solely because this makes it the first Pokemon film to be available outside of Japan to be done in this manner. The reasoning for this could be that Netflix funded the western release of the film as opposed to The Pokemon Company International.

Synopsis: After accepting an invitation from a mysterious trainer, Ash, Misty and Brock meet Mewtwo, an artificially created Pokémon who wants to do battle.

Those wishing to watch Pokemon: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution can do so on Netflix; but as per usual a valid Netflix subscription is required in order to watch the film.
