Crunchyroll Expands ONE PIECE Streaming Availability to include UK and Europe

Crunchyroll and TOEI Animation have teamed up to expand the streaming availability for One Piece within Europe; which means that as of today (once updated) One Piece will be available to stream legally in the UK. It’s not all good news though as currently only One Piece: WANO KUNI will be available to stream in the UK along with brand new episodes; but more is planned in the near future.

All of One Piece: WANO KUNI will be available to English-speaking territories later today, *including UK/IE, the Nordics, the Netherlands, Greece, Turkey and Poland. The WANO KUNI episodes will be available for free users except for Poland, and episodes will launch in these regions at the same time as the Americas.

Previous episodes of One Piece are currently available to stream on Crunchyroll within North America, for premium members, and Crunchyroll also plans to make these available for premium members within the same regions as those that receive One Piece: WANO KUNI. Details on when these will become available have yet to be mentioned; but we expect that Crunchyroll will drip-feed the information when available.

catalog release details for all expanded regions are currently TBA. When catalog episodes do launch, they will be available for Premium members only.

For the time being at least it means that Crunchyroll subscribers in the UK will be able to watch One Piece; a series which has previously only been made available on DVD (and Blu-Ray for feature-length-films) via Manga Entertainment UK.
