FAIRY TAIL Release Date Pushed Back to June 2020

Those looking forward to GUST’s video-game adaptation of the mid-way point of FAIRY TAIL will be disappointed to learn that the game has been pushed back to the 25th June 2020 from its original 19th March 2020 release date.

The reason for this delay, as explained by producer , is to allow additional development on the game to better refine its overall performance and visual flair.

I am truly sorry for FAIRY TAIL’s delay, and the inconvenience caused to our fans, partners and stakeholders who are looking forward to this title. Please allow us to take further time to polish the game to ensure it is as high quality as possible, so we can offer you a truly immersive experience. We will be working hard to enhance the magic effects, event scene effects, improving the game balance and more! We will talk about the improvements in more detail in the coming months. This delay will allow us to ensure we provide you a much more satisfying game. Thank you for your understanding!

As a reminder FAIRY TAIL will be available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC (via STEAM) with a digital deluxe edition also being made available. The Digital Deluxe Edition will contain a special Grand Magic Games costume, a bonus Lacrima set, and a DDX Limited Ryza costume for Lucy. Players can also download a special costume for Erza during the first month of launch through the relevant digital storefronts.

FAIRY TAIL is now scheduled to be released onto the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and STEAM on the 25th June 2020.
