My Hero Academia: Hero’s Rising UK Cinema Dates Announced

Manga Entertainment UK have recently announced that the second feature-length-film in the My Hero Academia franchise, known as My Hero Academia: Hero’s Rising, will receive a cinematic release on the 26th and 27th February 2020 in dubbed and subtitled formats across the UK.

A list of screening locations has not yet been revealed, with these details to be confirmed in the coming weeks, but we expect that cinemas which showed the previous film will also show this latest entry into the franchise.

Synopsis: The number one hero anime is back in cinemas for a battle beyond anything fans have ever seen! Class 1-A visits Nabu Island where they finally get to do some real hero work. The place is so peaceful that it’s more like a vacation … until they’re attacked by a villain with an unfathomable Quirk!

His power is eerily familiar, and it looks like Shigaraki had a hand in the plan. But with All Might retired and citizens’ lives on the line, there’s no time for questions. Deku and his friends are the next generation of heroes, and they’re the island’s only hope.

In addition to the initial screening date the official ticket website has also been opened; but as of yet the availbility to pre-book tickets has yet to be made available.

Seasons 1 and 3 are available on Blu-Ray and DVD in the UK Via Manga Entertainment, along with the film My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, while Season 2 of My Hero Academia is available in the UK via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
