Rune Factory 4 Special European Release Date Announced

Marvelous Europe have today announced that Rune Factory 4 Special, which is an enhanced remaster of the highly popular action-RPG Rune Factory 4 on the Nintendo 3DS, will be released physically and digitally on the 28th February 2020 within Europe and Australia.

In addition to the release date announcement Marvelous Europe have also confirmed that this Nintendo Switch version of the game will feature English and Japanese audio as well as text localisation in English, French and German. The original Nintendo 3DS version of the game was only available in English; so improvements have been made to only the content included in the game – as it features a newlywed mode which allows you to go beyond the scope of the original game – but also introduces new language options.

Those who pre-purchase Rune Factory 4 Special digitally from the Nintendo eShop, with the game priced at £32.99 / €39,99 / $59.95 AUD ,ill also receive the ‘Swimsuit Day’ DLC, which grants to access to new quests with the characters wearing Swimsuits. The Swimsuit Day DLC is also included as part of the ‘Archival Edition’ which is exclusive to the Marvelous Games Store.

Finally; Marvelous Europe also revealed that, at launch, Another Episode DLC will be released for FREE for a Limited Time from the Nintendo eShop. Once the promotional period has ended then the content will be sold at £4.49 /€4,99 / $7.50 AUD. Don’t fear though; as DLC from the Nintendo eShop can be downloaded even without owning the main game.

Rune Factory 4 Special will be released on the 28th February 2020 within Europe and Australia as both a physical and digital release. A Collector’s Edition, known as the Archival Edition, is also available from the Marvelous Games Store.
