Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Launch Trailer Offers a Nostalgic Perspective

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot
, an aciton-RPG retelling of the Dragon Ball Z story, releases this Friday (17th January 2020) worldwide and to prepare for its upcoming release Bandai Namco Entertainment have provided a nostalgic launch trailer.

In a change of pace from the norm, as launch trailers tend to showcase every aspect of the game within two minutes, this launch trailer offers a nostalgic feel by providing a perspective of Goku’s personality and fightstyle from the mindset of Vegeta; something which occurs during the final episodes of the anime/manga series when Goku is fighting Kid Buu on the Kai’s planet. This dialogue is presented alongside various footage from various moments of the story, in game perspective of course.

For Dragon Ball Z fans it is a refreshly nostalgic feel that offers great insight into the ‘story elements’ of the game; but not so much in terms of side-stories, quests and mini-games. Regradless if you like Dragon Ball Z then its worth checking out. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on the 17th January 2020.
