One Piece: Stampede To Receive Cinematic Release in UK in February 2020

Manga  Entertainment UK have today announced that One Piece: Stampede, which is the latest entry into a long-line of One Piece movies, will receive a UK Cinematic release next year in both dubbed and subbed formats.

Specifically the film will receive its wide-cinematic debut on the 2nd February 2020 with tickets being made available to pre-book on the official One Piece: Stampede website at a later date. Previously One Piece: Stampede had received a UK screening at Scotland Loves Anime, but this is the first time that the English Dubbed version of the film will be shown in the UK and – more importantly – will have a wide cinematic release.

Synopsis: The world’s boldest buccaneers set sail for the great Pirate Festival, where the Straw Hats join a mad-dash race to find Gol D. Roger’s treasure. There’s just one little problem. An old member of Roger’s crew has a sinister score to settle. All bets are off when the most iconic pirates of One Piece history band together for a swashbuckling showdown, the likes of which have never been seen!

This announcement, as big as it is, does not come as a surprise as earlier this month a BBFC listing revealed that Manga Entertainment UK had a One Piece: Stampede trailer rated for cinematic use. Speculation on my part believes that this trailer for One Piece:Stampede will be shown before the recently announced cinematic showing of My Hero Academia: Hero’s Rising, which has yet to receive a cinematic date.

Regardless; One Piece Stampede will be released in UK cinemas on the 2nd February 2020 in both dubbed and subtitled formats with ticket information being made available via the official website.
