NIS America to Release The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III on the Nintendo Switch

NIS America have, rather surprisingly, announced that Nihon Falcom’s third instalment into The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III franchise will be released on to the Nintendo Switch digitally and physically during Spring 2020.

This Nintendo Switch release of the game will feature the same content as the previously released PlayStation 4 version, and will reportedly run at 720p and 30fps in both docked and handheld mode as well as include all previously released downloadable content on the same cartirdge. This is recording to an article on Gamespot.

In addition to the Nintendo Switch console announcement NIS America have also revealed that the Collector’s Edition, known as Thor’s Academy Edition, will also be released for the Nintendo Switch version of the game. It’s currently not known if this edition will be available within Europe; but it is currently available to pre-order within North America from the official NIS America store.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III is now available for the PlayStation 4 within Europe and North America and will also be available for the Nintendo Switch during Spring 2020 with further release details to be announced at a later date.
