FAIRY TAIL Game Launches March 2020 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and STEAM

KOEI TECMO Europe have announced that GUST Studio’s JRPG adaptation of Hiro Mashima’s manga and anime franchise FAIRY TAIL will launch on the 19th March 2020 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and STEAM (for Windows PC).

The release date announcement, which comes only a few short months after the games initial announcement, came alongside a new gameplay trailer which showcases previously announced playable characters in the form of Sherria Blendy from Lamia Scale, Kagura Mikazuchi from Mermaid Heel, Blue Pegasus mage Ichiya Vandalay Kotobuki as well as Sting Eucliffe and Rogue Cheney from Sabertooth.

The release date announcement trailer also confirms the existence of a ‘Digital Deluxe Edition’ and ‘Early Purchase Bonus’ for those that wish to purchase the game digitally or at launch. In this instance those who purchase the game at launch (for duing the launch period) will receive access to a special costume for Erza Scarlet while the Digital Deluxe Edition will contain a selection of new outfits, a bonus lacrima set and an Atelier Ryza Costume for Lucy.

FAIRY TAIL is in development for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and STEAM and will be available both digitally (all platforms) and physically (PS4 and Nintendo Switch) on the 19th March 2020.
