Anime Limited Announces Your Name & Weathering With You Cinematic Double Bill Event for January 2020

Those looking to experience Weathering With You ahead of its wider-cinematic release on the 17th January 2020, and in turn re-experience the critically acclaimed film Your Name on the big screen, will be excited to learn that Anime Limited have announced a ‘Double Bill’ event at selected cinemas across the country.

On the 15th January 2020, which is two days before the official UK cinematic release of Weathering With You, fans will be able to experience both Makoto Shinkai films back-to-back starting with Your Name and then, after a 10 minute break, Weathering With You. Tickets for this special double event can be booked online through the official website and a wide-variety of locations will be screening the film as part of this special double bill event.

But when Mitsuha makes a wish to leave her mountain town for the bustling city of Tokyo, they become connected in a bizarre way. She dreams she is a boy living in Tokyo while Taki dreams he is a girl from a rural town he s never visited.

Weathering With You:
High school freshman Hodaka Morishima leaves his home on an isolated island and moves to Tokyo, but he quickly finds himself in financial trouble. Living his days in isolation, he eventually lands a job as a writer for a shady occult magazine.

Then one day in an alley, Hodaka meets a young girl named Hina Amano, bright and strong-­willed, who possesses a strange and wonderful ability: the power to stop the rain and clear the sky.

Your Name is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray in the UK and is also available to watch on Amazon Instant Video for Amazon Prime members (until 11th December 2019 at least). Weathering With You meanwhile is the latest film and will receive its UK cinematic release on the 17th January 2020.
