Manga UK Announces Home Video Releases for I Want to Eat Your Pancreas, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Code Geass for UK Releases

It’s not even Christmas yet and Manga Entertainment UK are already giving the ‘gift of anime’ by announcing new title licenses and forthcoming home video releases, and this comes ‘fresh off the heels’ of the previously announced Q1 2020 release line-up.

In this case Manga Entertainment UK will be the home video distributor for I Want to Eat Your Pancreas, a film which – to me at least – was expected to be distributed by Anime Limited with older KAZE related titles being re-released under the full Manga Entertainment UK brand, with One Punch Man, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Code Geass all being repackaged and re-released during Q1 2020.

As it stands the schedule currently looks like this:

13th January 2019:

• JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Set Two – Stardust Crusaders (Blu-Ray)

20th January 2019:

• Dragon Ball Super: Part 10 (DVD and Blu-ray)

27th January 2019:

• Code Geass – Season 1 and 2 (DVD and Blu-Ray)
• I Want to Eat Your Pancreas (DVD and Blu-Ray)
• Saga of Tanya The Evil: The Complete Series (DVD and Blu-ray)

3rd February 2019:

• Hellsing Ultimate: Volumes 9-10 Collection (DVD and Blu-ray)
• SSSS.GRIDMAN: The Complete Series (DVD and Blu-ray + Digital Copy)

10th February 2019:

As per usual the release dates listed are tentative and subject to change, but these new additions further refine the already strong Q1 2020 release schedule. Additionally the former-KAZE-licenses (such as Code Geass and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) have been demanded for awhile now and based on listings (and speculation) these will be repackaged releases with discs based off US counterparts rather than those authored by the French company KAZE.
