Arc of Alchemist To Launch January 2020 on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4

Publisher Idea Factory International have announced that the JRPG Arc of Alchemist will launch on the 31st January 2020 for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, with the game being digital only in North America on both platforms while in Europe the game will be released physically and digitally onto the PlayStation 4 and digitally on the Nintendo Switch.

In addition to the release date announce Idea Factory International also published the games opening animation to their youtube channel as a trailer; of which can be seen below:

 

A breakdown of some of the key characters found within Arc of Alchemist was also outlined:

Quinn Bravesford:
A young and excellent tactician, tasked with captaining the expedition team. Her name strikes fear in the heart of enemy nations. She is calm and collected, but cares deeply for her subordinates. Burdened by the bleak world that has turned into a desert, and with mankind’s role in its history, she fights to hold onto the will to live. Saving the world, keeping her friends alive, and accomplishing her mission. For now, she clings onto these reasons.

Sharon Valver:
A tech researcher who boasts the greatest knowledge within the expedition team. She possesses a mysterious power, the fruit of her tireless research. She speaks in a calm, soft manner. She is not one to mince words, but there is a mischievous side to her. She takes part in research at the military laboratory, and she has access to technology which can restore data files within old machines.
Sandra Waynwright:
She easily wields a giant shield, and has taken on the role of intercepting enemy attacks for her allies. Because of her small stature, stubborn personality, and dislike of carrots, she is self-conscious about not being taken seriously with her childlike appearance. On the other hand, she holds a deep trust for Quinn, who speaks to her without such prejudice.
Arc of Alchemist will be released on the 31st January 2020 for the PlayStation 4, physically and digitally, and Nintendo Swicth, digitally, within Europe.
