Arc of Alchemist to feature Real-Time Battles

Publisher Idea Factory International have provided a new gameplay update on the upcoming JRPG Arc of Alchemist, which is planned for an early 2020 release on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4; this time focusing on the seamless real-time battles players will experience once the game has been released in the west.

As explained by the publisher while exploring the game, players will encounter enemies on the field and automatically enter battle mode. It is here where players can strategize by changing up battle formations as well as develop your own battle style by trying out different party members’ classes!

In addition this western release of Arc of Alchemist includes the new update released in Japan which allows players to control any of the playable cast members during battle. Now, any cast member set as the party leader can wield the Lunagear – a special device assembled with ancient technology. Use the elemental Orbs (Fire, Water, Wind, Earth) to your advantage and cast special skills that will help in your adventure.

Arc of Alchemist is now planned for a digital release on the Nintendo Switch and a physical and digital release on the PlayStation 4 during early 2020 with further release details to be announced at a later date.
