BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle 2.0 Characters Confirmed and Special Edition Announced


The “Crossing Fate” continues as Arc System Works have unveiled the remaining list of characters players can expect from the Version 2.0 Content Pack for BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.

This pack will add nine additional characters and will also arrive at the same time as the ‘Version 2.0’ content update that introduces balances and tweaks to the game and related characters within it.

First wave of announced characters:

  • Akatsuki (Akatsuki Blitzkampf Ausf)
  • Blitztank (Akatsuki Blitzkampf Ausf)
  • Yumi (SENRAN KAGURA: Estival Versus)

Second wave of announced characters:

  • Celica=A=Mercury (Blazblue Centralfiction)
  •  Tohru Adachi (Persona4 Arena Ultimax)
  •  Neo Politan (RWBY)
  •  Elizabeth (Persona4 Arena)
  •  Hilda (Under Night In-Birth)
  •  Susanoo (Blazblue Centralfiction)

In addition to the new characters European publisher PQube Games have also announced plans to a release a complete “Special Edition” of BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, of which will include the base game and all previously released downloadable content, as well as an art book featuring artwork from the game.

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is now available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC while the ‘Special Edition’ will be released on the 22nd November 2019 for the same platforms and the ‘Version 2.0’ content will also be released on the same day.
