Mary Skelter 2 Receives New Gameplay Details Ahead of its October Release

Publisher Idea Factory International have released some additional gameplay details for the dungeon crawler RPG Mary Skelter 2 which releases digitally onto the Nintendo eShop next month for the Nintendo Switch.

In this particular feature update, of which can also be found on the official Mary Skelter 2 website, Idea Factory International have revealed training functionalities including Skill Creation and Blood Devloution; all of which can be found detailed below.

Training – Skill Creation: When a Blood Maiden levels up, they gain CP, which are points that can be used to level up skills or learn new ones. Blood Maidens also have the ability to learn skills across different jobs, which allows players to craft their very own Blood Maiden.

Training – Blood Devolution: At the New Liberated District, players can reset a Blood Maiden’s level to retrain her. Players can choose what level to devolve to and depending on the level chosen, characters can gain stat boosts and/or learn new skills.

Dungeon – Blood Farm: You can raise Blood Flowers in the dungeon by planting the Blood Crystals you gain in battle. Once a Blood Flower has gone into full bloom, various items can be harvested.Splattering Marchen Blood onto the flowers will turn the flowers gold and increase your chances of obtaining a rare item! The items you get through Blood Farming can come with special boosts; such as different elemental properties, bonus points, equipment skills and more! So be sure to keep harvesting because you won’t get the same item twice! You can also use Hameln’s “Magnetic Picolo” ability to harvest all the Blood Flowers at once to trigger “Update Chance”, which will attach even MORE bonuses to your items!

Mary Skelter 2, which also includes an enhanced port of Mary Skelter 2: Nightmares, will be available digitally for the Nintendo Switch from the Nintendo eShop on the 23rd October 2019.
