The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III Demo Now Available on PlayStation Store

Those eager to experience a small portion of Nihon Falcom’s third instalment into The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III franchise will be excited to learn that a playable demo has been released onto the PlayStation Store in both Europe and North America.

The playable demo will allow fans to experience the prologue portion of the game before it is released later next month on the PlayStation 4; additionally progress made in this demo can be transferred to the full game once released.

Those who wish to beat the demo as well as carry on the progress in the full game, and in turn earn the trophy related to beating the Prologue/Boss at the end, are advised to save before the boss fight and transfer to the full game once released – otherwise save data earned after finishing the beating the demo will now unlock the related trophy once loaded in the full game.

This procedure is outlined below:

NOTE: No trophies will be acquired in this demo version. In order to ensure you are able to acquire the trophy for completing the prologue in the full game, please follow these steps:
1) Create a save in the demo right before its end boss.
2) Transfer that save to the full game.
3) Defeat the boss in the full game to acquire the trophy.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III Demo is now available to download from the PlayStation Store with the full game available from the 29th October 2019 within Europe. Those wishing to experience the game from the beginning, via The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II, can do so with PlayStation 4 versions available now both physically and digitally within Europe and North America.
