YU-NO Gameplay Trailer Released

SPIKE CHUNSOFT have recently released a gameplay trailer for the upcoming visual novel YU-NO which is being released onto the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC (via Steam) later this year.

In addition to the gameplay trailer SPIKE CHUNSOFT also hosted a live-stream showcase portions of the game as well as the Day 1 Edition exclusive for the Nintendo Switch 8:BIT – YU-NO’s GREAT ADVENTURE. You can view this Stream here.

During his vacation from Sakaimachi Academy, Takuya Arima receives a package from his supposedly deceased father. It contains the mysterious Reflector Device which allows the user to travel between parallel worlds.

With help from his friends, teachers, and lovers, Takuya must unearth the mystery of his father’s legacy to prevent a calamity threatening to envelop reality itself.

As previously announced YU-NO will feature some ‘minor’ changes to the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch release. In this case one piece of artwork (i.e. CG) will have a white light added while certain cursor icons will be replaced with a generic cursor icon. The Steam release meanwhile will be exactly the same as the original Japanese release.

YU-NO will be released onto the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch physically and digitally as well as digitally on Windows PC (via Steam) on the 9th October 2019 within Europe via Numskull Games.
