UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Late[cl-r] Announced at EVO 2019

Arc System Works, in conjunction with publisher Aksys Games, have announced the latest incarnation of the UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH franchise, known as UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Late[cl-r], of which adds a brand new character and gameplay enhancements compared to the previous PlayStation 4 version of the game.

Neither Arc System Works or Aksys Games specified a platform for this latest version of the game, although we would assume it will be released onto the PlayStation 4, but Akibo Shieh, founder and CEO of Aksys Games, shared his own excitements of the game and the reaction from the community:

The 2D fighting community has been incredibly supportive, and we are as excited about this new chapter in the Under Night In-Birth series as they are. With the introduction of a new character, the entire game has been carefully rebalanced and perfected for the greatest possible anime fighting experience to date.

UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Late[cl-r] is currently in development and is expected to be released in 2020. A newly released trailer demonstrating the new character, and improved gameplay, can be watched below.
