Updated TV schedule listings have revealed that POP!, who are currently broadcasting episodes of Pokemon: Indigo League, as well as numerous other series of Pokemon, throughout the week, will be broadcast Pokemon: The First Movie on the free-to-air TV channel this weekend; specifically on Saturday 20th July at 3:30pm.
This will be the first time that the original movie has received a UK TV broadcast since the films were re-released by Manga Entertainment UK, although it is possible this is the first time the film has ever received a UK TV broadcast.
Surprisingly that’s not the only Pokemon film being broadcast on UK TV this weekend as the sister TV channel POP Max, which is only available on Sky and Freesat, will be showing Pokemon: The Rise of Darkrai at exactly the same time and on the same day. Which, in case you have forgotten, is Saturday 20th July 2019 at 3:30pm.
