CLANNAD to Release Digitally on Nintendo Switch within Europe & North America Next Month

Visual novel publisher PROTOTYPE have announced, via the recent arrival of Nintendo eShop store pages, that the Nintendo Switch version of CLANNAD will be released digitally via the Nintendo eShop within Europe and America on the 4th July 2019, which coincidentally is also the same day as its digital and physical release in Japan.

This upcoming Nintendo Switch release is based upon the previously released PlayStation 4 and Steam releases and will feature both English and Japanese text across all three regions (Europe, America and Japan) as well as enhanced audio and visuals. Those wishing to pre-order CLANNAD digitally on the North America and European Nintendo eShop can do so as the game is now available to pre-purchase in both regions.

Those wanting a physical version of CLANNAD will be glad to know that the Japanese physical version of the game is also expected to have both English and Japanese text localisation (just like its Japanese PlayStation 4 release).

Synopsis: Step inside a heart-warming tale of love, family, and the ties that bind us all together. With gorgeous visuals and a haunting soundtrack, the classic romantic adventure game comes to Nintendo Switch™!

CLANNAD is now available to pre-purchase digitally from the Nintendo eShop within Europe and America. A Physical version for the Nintendo Switch is currently only planned for release in Japan; with digital releases in both Europe and America.
