Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Confirmed for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & Windows PC

Bandai Namco Entertainment have today confirmed that Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch will be released onto the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC on the 20th September 2019.

Originally released as Ni No Kuni: Dominion of the Dark Djinn in Japan onto the Nintendo DS in 2010, and then later remade for the PlayStation 3 in 2011 (and localised in 2013) as Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch the JPRG proect between LEVEL-5 and STUDIO GHIBLI now comes to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC later this year.

Synopsis: The tale of a young boy named Oliver, who embarks on a journey into a parallel world to become a magician in an attempt to bring his mother back from the dead. Along the way, Oliver makes new friends and adopts many of the wonderful creatures that inhabit the world, raising them to battle other creatures on his behalf as he takes on formidable enemies.

Bandai Namco Entertainment have not provided any ‘specific’ details; but the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC versions as known as ‘Remastered’ while the Nintendo Switch version is left as the same title. Our expectation is that the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC versions have been overhauled with graphical improvements while the Nintendo Switch version offers the same functionality as of the original PlayStation 3 version; but alas only time will tell.

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch will be available for the Nintendo Switch on the 20th September 2019. The PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions meanwhile, of which are known as Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered, will also be available to purchase on the 20th September 2019.
