Tales of Arise Announced as Latest ‘Tales of’ Game for PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC

Bandai Namco Entertainment, as part of the Xbox E3 2019 Media Presentation, announced that Tales of Arise will be the latest entry into the Tales of video game franchise; and compared to previous entries it has had a bit of a visual overhaul.

Developed using Unreal Engine Tales of Arise is set for a 2020 release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC (digital) and based on this first announcement trailer it’s going to offer a slightly ‘darker’ experience than recent colourful variations of the game. Personally we do not know much about this game; but a synopsis of the games story can be found below.

Synopsis: For 300 years, the people of Rena have ruled over Dahna, pillaging the planet of its resources and stripping its people of their dignity and freedom. Tales of Arise begins with two people, born on different worlds, each longing to change their fate and create a new future for themselves and perhaps their people.

Tales of Arise is planned for a 2020 release onto the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Window PC – with further details to be announced in due course.
