DATE A LIVE: Rio Reincarnation to Include Digital Art-Books with Modifications on PS4 Version

Publisher Idea Factory International have recently confirmed that upcoming PlayStation 4 and Windows PC game, DATE A LIVE: Rio Reincarnation, will include three in-game digital art-books using artwork from the different games included within this High Definition remaster.

As explained by Idea Factory International each art book contains a plethora of information, as well as artwork for the numerous different characters featured within the game collection, for fans and newcomers alike to get familiar with the series. In total, there are 100 pages of content across all the art books, including character bios, key art, rough sketches, plus light novels and comics that have never been localized until now.

Unfortunately the inclusion of these digital art books also come with some unfortunate news. On the PlayStation 4 version of the game four pages from one of the art books will NOT be included; while another page has been modified. Idea Factory International have not expressed if this is due to restrictions by the platform holder or if it is a PEGI/ESRB related issue; but the all removed (and/or modified) artwork will be included in the Steam release. The publisher also went on to confirm that the PlayStation 4 version of the game will feature two modified CG sequences in-game while the PC (via Steam) version will remain unaltered from its original release.

DATE A LIVE: Rio Reincarnation will be DATE A LIVE: Rio Reincarnation will be available digitally and physically for the PlayStation 4 on the 26th July 2019 and available digitally worldwide on Windows PC (via Steam) on the 23rd July 2019.
