Anime Limited Announcement Round-Up from MCM London Comic Con May 2019

Anime Limited once again entertained fans, and once again not to script, by hosting a selection of panels throughout the MCM London Comic Con May 2019 weekend; some of which were to highlight recent title announcements while others were to celebrate Hibiki Yoshizaki’s work in the form of panel and signing sessions. Regardless; today we are here to talk about the new titles that were announced during the course of the weekend.

Friday 24th May 2019:

The Panel on Friday was reserved for reminder folks attending MCM London Comic Con what they have planned for the week as well as unveiling a list of new titles. In this instance however Anime Limited opted to remind people of the numerous Gundam properties they have and ‘further confirmation’ on when they expect to release them – with Q4 2019 being the targeted release window.

  • Mobile Suit Gundam 00 (Part 1 & Part 2 as Collector’s Edition as well as Complete Franchise as Deluxe Collector’s Edition)
  • Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack (Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray)
  • Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt: Bandit Flower (Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray)
  • Mobile Suit Gundam Wing (Part 1 & Part 2 as Collector’s Edition as well as Complete Franchise as Deluxe Collector’s Edition)

Vinyl:

  • A Silent Voice (expected release November 2019)
  • FLCL (expected release September 2019)

Sunday 26th May 2019:

This particular panel meanwhile opted to unveil a list of ‘brand new’ licenses as well as a sneak peek at some films planned for the Scotland Loves Anime event later this year.

Anime Limited have announced that they plan to release these within 2019 and beyond; however as with all Anime Limited titles we should probably not expect them until 2020. Regardless Anime Limited are bringing some variety and we can expect to hear more in the coming months.
