Manga Duo Akira Himekawa To Attend MCM London Comic Con This Month

VIZ Media, in partnership with MCM Comic Con, have announced that Manga duo Akira Himekawa will attend this month’s MCM London Comic Con with VIZ Media hosting also hosting their own panel on Saturday 25th May 2019 at 11am.

Akira Himekawa, with the individual pen names of A. Honda and S. Nagano, are best known for chronicling Link’s adventures in the ongoing Legend of Zelda manga series and have been working together since 1991. Now, for the first time in UK and MCM Comic Con history, fans of Akira Himekawa, and in turn the Legend of Zelda manga series, will be able to meet them at MCM London Comic Con between 24th May and 16th May 2019.

Akira Himekawa will be on hand throughout the weekend and will be in attendance with VIZ Media editor Michael Montesa  on the MCM Centre Stage at 11am on Friday 24th May 2019 while on Saturday 25th May 2019 at 2:15pm on the Centre Stage will be a panel focused on Akira Himekawa and their experience within the industry. VIZ Media and MCM London Comic Con have also confirmed that Akira Himekawa will also be doing signing sessions and other events throughout the weekend with further timing schedules to be confirmed closer to the event.

Further information surrounding the appearance of Akira Himekawa can be found on the official MCM London Comic Con website; but in the meantime the MCM London Comic Con takes place between the 24th May 2019 and 26th May 2019 at the ExCeL Centre in London.
