Anime Limited Reveals Silver Spoon Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray Release Details

Following on from months (if not years) of speculation, and what assumed to be some form of delay, Anime Limited have surprised fans by unveiling the release details for the first season of the anime series Silver Spoon; and it will be receiving a Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray Release next month.

From Hiromu Arakawa, the creator of Fullmetal Alchemist, comes Silver Spoon; a farming themed anime series that delivers its own unique story and for the first time available on Blu-Ray in an English-speaking- territory. Anime Limited plan to release the first season in June, with Collector’s Edition details being revealed today, while the second season is expected to be released at some point in July.

Season 1:

Season 2:

Regardless of its backstory Silver Spoon will receive a Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release, for both Season 1 and Season 2, in the ‘traditional’ Anime Limited manner. This will see the episodic content presented across two Blu-Ray discs (in Japanese with English Subtitles) that fits inside a digi-pack carse that slides into a Collector’s Edition box alongside a poster and some art-cards. It’s nothing too fancy; but it is indeed colourful.

Silver Spoon – Season 1 is expected to be released on the 3rd June 2019 while Season 2 is expected to be released at some point during July with further release details to be confirmed at a later date.
