Dragon Ball Super: Broly The Movie Collector’s Edition and Sainsbury’s Exclusive Edition Confirmed

Manga Entertainment UK are going ‘beyond Super’ with the UK home video release of Dragon Ball Super: Broly The Movie, as the UK anime distributor-come-publisher have announced details for a Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release of the movie as well as a retailer-centric edition that is exclusive to Sainsbury’s.

Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray:

Originally announced as the ‘Standard Blu-ray’ this Collector’s Edition will contain the film on Blu-Ray, with both English & Japanese audio options, as well as four art-cards featuring different characters from the film and a fold-out poster of the films key visual artwork. This Blu-Ray will also come presented in a slipcase sleeve similar to previous Collector’s Edition releases of Dragon Ball Z movies.

Manga Entertainment UK did note that those who have previously pre-ordered the standard Blu-Ray edition will be upgraded to this Collector’s Edition at no additional cost.

Sainsbury’s Edition:

This Sainsbury’s Edition, which will be exclusive to the supermarket chain Sainbury’s while stocks last, features the Standard DVD (and Standard Blu-Ray) but expanded with four exclusive art cards. These art cards are different to the art cards included with the Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release. This ‘Sainsburys’ exclusive edition (on Blu-Ray at least) will also include a slipcase / carded sleeve.

In addition to these ‘limited time editions’ a Steelbook Blu-Ray and DVD Combo Pack release is also available alongside standard DVD release. A Triple Movie Pack collection, which also contains Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F, will also be released.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly the Movie will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray from the 27th May 2019 while the ‘digital’ version of the film will be available through digital video platforms to rent and buy on the 13th May 2019.
