Dragon Ball Super: Broly the Movie earns more than £1m at the UK Box Office

It’s time for some celebration; as Manga Entertainment UK have announced that Dragon Ball Super: Broly the Movie has earned more than £1m at the UK Box Office, meaning that it is one of only two anime films in the UK box office history to reach this amount.

With an official cume gross to date of £1,004,853, Dragon Ball Super: Broly the Movie is the UK’s second highest grossing anime film of all time, with the highest grossing film bein Studio Ghibli’s Spirited Away. Dragon Ball Super: Broly the movie was originally opened as a limited two-day theatrical event on January 23rd, but due to the films high reviews and popular attendance the film received a wider cinematic release on more dates across the cinemas in the UK.

Andrew Hewson, Marketing Manager, also thanks the team at Manga Entertainment UK and the fans for making UK history with this UK cinematic release of Dragon Ball Super: Broly the Movie:

Dragon Ball Super: Broly the Movie is currently available to pre-order on DVD, Blu-Ray and Limited Edition Steelbook Blu-Ray and DVD Combo Pack and is scheduled for a 27th May 2019 release; although selected cinemas may still have the film on offer with tickets available to book online from the official website.
