Pokemon the Movie: The Power of Us Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray Details Announced

Earlier in the week listings appeared at online retailers for an upcoming Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray and Standard Edition DVD release of the latest Pokemon film, known as Pokemon the Movie: The Power of Us, and now UK Anime distributor Manga Entertainment UK have officially confirmed its existence with details on what to expect from the Collector’s Edition Blu-ray.

Currently listed for a 11th February 2019 release date the Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release contain the film on Blu-ray, in it’s English Dubbed format, alongside 4 Art Cards and a fold-out poster. The Blu-Ray case will also come packaged in a carded sleeve similar to that of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F and Dragon Ball Z: Battle of God Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray releases.

The Standard DVD release meanwhile will just come packaged in a normal DVD Case with the film, in Standard Definition, in its English Dubbed format.

Synopsis: A young athlete whose running days might be behind her, a compulsive liar, a shy researcher, a bitter old woman, and a little girl with a big secret—the only thing they have in common is the annual Wind Festival in Fula City. The festival celebrates the Legendary Pokémon Lugia, who brings the wind that powers this seaside city. When a series of threats endangers not just the festival, but all the people and Pokémon of Fula City, it’ll take more than just Ash and Pikachu to save the day! Can everyone put aside his or her differences and work together—or will it all end in destruction?

It’s worth noting that Pokemon the Movie: The Power of Us was made available to rent for £5.49, or purchase for £8.99, earlier this week with the Australian Blu-Ray release of the film also being released earlier this month.

Either way; Pokemon the Movie: The Power of Us is available to purchase digitally from Amazon Instant VideoGoogle Play Store and iTunes App Store and is scheduled to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray earlier next year within the UK.
