Manga UK To Release Pokemon the Movie: The Power of Us on Blu-Ray and DVD Next Year

New listings on Amazon UK have revealed that the latest Pokemon film, known as Pokemon the Movie: The Power of Us, will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD via Manga Entertainment UK later next year.

Specifically the film has been listed for a 11th February 2019 release date with the Blu-Ray being released as a Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release while the DVD will be released as a standard DVD. At the time of writing it’s not been specified what to expect from this Collector’s Edition version of the film.

Synopsis: A young athlete whose running days might be behind her, a compulsive liar, a shy researcher, a bitter old woman, and a little girl with a big secret—the only thing they have in common is the annual Wind Festival in Fula City. The festival celebrates the Legendary Pokémon Lugia, who brings the wind that powers this seaside city. When a series of threats endangers not just the festival, but all the people and Pokémon of Fula City, it’ll take more than just Ash and Pikachu to save the day! Can everyone put aside his or her differences and work together—or will it all end in destruction?

It’s worth noting that Pokemon the Movie: The Power of Us was made available to rent for £5.49, or purchase for £8.99, earlier this week with the Australian Blu-Ray release of the film also being released earlier this month.

Either way; Pokemon the Movie: The Power of Us is available to purchase digitally from Amazon Instant VideoGoogle Play Store and iTunes App Store and is scheduled to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray earlier next year within the UK with further details to be confirmed.
