Judgement (Previously Project Judge) To Be Released Summer 2019 with an English Dub

SEGA have announced that Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s “Project Judge” – otherwise known in Japan as Judge Eyes – will be released as Judgement when it releases onto the PlayStation 4 during Summer 2019. In addition SEGA have also confirmed that Judgement will receive an English Dub and be playable with Dual-Audio (Japanese and English) when released next year.

The English Dub will consist of Greg Chun as protagonist Takayuki Yagami and Joe Zieja as Issei Hoshino; while supporting roles will also see Crispin Freeman, Matthew Mercer, Cherami Leigh, Yuri Lowenthal, James Hong, Ed O’Ross, Amy Walker, Matt Yang King, Fred Tatasciore, and Brian McNamara, with guest appearances by SungWon Cho, Cristina Vee, Max Mittelman. In short it is a strong line-up of English Dub voice actors; but naturally the Japanese audio option will also be included for those wanting the original Japanese experience.

As explained by SEGA Judgment’s localisation and dubbing will be handled in house by SEGA of America’s localisation team that worked on the Yakuza location; additionally the English Dub of Judgement marks twelve years since the game based in the Yakuza series has received an english dub.

Regardless Judgement is being localised (and dubbed) for the PlayStation 4 when it releases within Europe and North America during Summer 2019; but the Japanese release, known as Judge Eyes, will be available later this week for the PlayStation 4.
