Nier: Automata’s 2B Announced as Guest DLC Character for SOUL CALIBUR VI

Bandai Namco Entertainment have recently revealed that the combat android 2B from Nier: Automata will be released as a guest DLC character for SOUL CALIBUR VI.

2B will arrive in SOUL CALIBUR VI in the near future and will come with her own stage, background music and character customisation element. Unfortunately she will not feature her own storyline segment but fans will be able to select this character in other gameplay modes such as Arcade, Multiplayer and Training.

How does she fit within SOUL CALIBUR VI: Sent on a confidential mission, 2B arrived in a location unlike any she had seen before. Scanning her language database for a description, the words “ancient castle” were returned. Her sensors detected no machine lifeforms. “Communication received from Bunker”, spoke the robotic voice from 2B’s tactical support pod. “Mission received. “Objective: Destroy the hostile entity, Soul Edge.”

About 2B: 2B wields two swords, Virtuous Contract and Virtuous Treaty. Both have been carefully tuned for maximum efficiency in the hands of a YoRHa android. Her fighting technique is specially designed for combat against machine lifeforms, employing acrobatic leaps and midair slashes, lightning-fast evasions and perfectly coordinated strikes.

A release date for 2B from Nier: Automata has not yet been revealed but we can be sure to hear more details in the near future. In the meantime SOUL CALIBUR VI is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC worldwide.
