Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment have today announced that Pegasus Seiya & Dragon Shiryu from the Shonen Jump manga series Saint Seiya will be playable in the upcoming Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC release of JUMP FORCE.

Details of these newly confirmed characters can be found below:

  • Dragon Shiryu. Protected by the Dragon constellation, he is one of the most composed of all the Saints. He is also one of the few Bronze Saints deemed worthy enough to wear the Gold Cloth. When in need the Libra Cloth, grants him immeasurable strength  and access to all-powerful weapons to defeat any foe that stands in his way.

In addition to the new playable characters Bandai Namco Entertainment have also introduced a new fighting arena. This stage, known as Mayan City, is where JUMP FORCE fighters will fight it out across the ruins of the ancient Central American civilization.

JUMP FORCE will be released early next year onto the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC; but in the meantime a closed beta event is taking place on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this weekend.
