Gal Metal European Release Date & Digital Pre-Purchase Details Announced

Marvelous Games, otherwise known as Marvelous Europe, have today announced that Tak Fuji’s and DMM Games motion-controlled rhythm game Gal Metal will be released on the 2nd November 2018 in both Digital and Retail variations.

Scheduled for release on the 2nd November 2018, and available to pre-purchase digitally from the Nintendo Switch eShop on the 18th October 2018, Gal Metal will allow fans to save the earth from alien invasion through the power of metal and a drum kit.

Gal Metal is a rhythm game designed for Nintendo Switch™ that turns each Joy-Con™ into a drum stick. Players will take hold of the Joy-Cons to rock along with the music as they create their own complex performances and rack up millions of points using personal free-form drum lines based on over a dozen different beats.

With Pro Controller support on offer as well, players will be able to choose how they want to jam and earn metal power to use against the alien invaders in this uniquely adlib-friendly rhythm experience.

Gal Metal will be available as both a digital and physical edition. The Digital Edition, which will be the base game only, will be available to pre-purchase from the Nintendo eShop on the 18th October 2018 while the Encore DLC, which expands the game with five new songs, stories and characters, will be available to purchase separately on the games release day. The Physical Edition of Gal Metal will be known as Gal Metal: World Tour Edition and will include the ‘Encore’ DLC Pack as well as an exclusive set of stickers.

Gal Metal, and Gal Metal: World Tour Edition, will be available for the Nintendo Switch on the 18th October 2018.
