Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters – Part 1 Release Pushed Back

Manga Entertainment UK have today confirmed that the upcoming Blu-Ray and DVD release of Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters – Part 1 has been pushed back until the 22nd October 2018.

Originally Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters – Part 1 was announced for an 8th October 2018 release, which is the same day as Dragon Ball Super – Part 5, but was quietly moved to the 15th October 2018. Today Manga Entertainment UK have confirmed through social media channels that the product will now be released on the 22nd October 2018 as a result of artwork delays.

For those unfamiliar Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters is a High Definition remaster of the original Dragon Ball Z anime series but ‘recut’ to fit closer with the original source material; similar to the previous Dragon Ball Z Kai releases. This ‘Final Chapter’ release follows the events of the World Tournament Saga right through to the end of the Kid Buu Saga; with this first part mostly focusing on World Tournament and Majin Buu.

Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters – Part 1 is now scheduled for DVD and Blu-Ray release on the 22nd October 2018.
