Steins;Gate Elite To Release on PlayStation 4 & Nintendo Switch February 2019 within Europe

Spike Chunsoft, in partnership with distributing partner Koch Media, have announced that STEINS;GATE ELITE – the enhanced visual novel remake of Steins;Gate – will be released onto the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on the 19th February 2019 within Europe and North America.

Steins;Gate Elite features the same story as the original Steins;Gate PS3 and PS Vita game but remade using animated scenes from the anime as well as newly remastered scenes from the original experience. This ‘elite’ version of the game for the Nintendo Switch will also include the mini-game 8-BIT ADV STEINS;GATE which is an 8-bit variation of Steins;Gate.

Synopsis: Follows a group of young, tech-savvy “lab members” who discover the means of changing the past via e-mail using a modified microwave. Their experiments in pushing the boundaries of time begin to spiral out of control as they become entangled in a conspiracy surrounding SERN, the organization behind the Large Hadron Collider, and John Titor, who claims to be from a dystopian future.

Steins;Gate Elite will be released onto the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on the 19th February 2019 within Europe and North America.
