Dead or Alive 6 To Be Released 15th February 2019 and Digital Pre-Order Details Announced

Koei Tecmo, in partnership with developers Team Ninja, have announced that Dead or Alive 6 – which is of course the latest entry into the arcade fighting franchise – will be making its way to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC on 15th February 2019.

Dead or Alive 6 will see the return of a strong line-up of characters, and fan favourites, including Kasumi, Ayane, Ryu and Marie Rose in a new fighting tournament with new rules, visuals and gameplay modes. Combat will remain mostly the same as the previous (and almost DLC-hungry) Dead or Alive 5: Last Round but an overhaul on the combat mechanics offers new introductions, such as a new counter system, and more free-flow combat style.

In addition to the release date announcement Koei Tecmo Europe have revealed some ‘special’ digital pre-order incentives depending on the platform and type of pre-order that is placed. A list of these details can be found below:

Finally in addition to the digital pre-order bonuses Koei Tecmo Europe also confirmed details of a ‘Digital Deluxe Edition‘ of Dead or Alive 6; of which will contain the following items:

• DDX exclusive Kasumi costume
• Clone Kasumi Playable Character

Dead or Alive 6 is available to pre-order digitally and physically within Europe for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
