Marvelous Europe To Publish Freedom Planet onto Nintendo Switch This Month

Marvelous Europe have recently announced that, in partnership with North American based publisher XSEED Games, they will be publishing GalaxyTrail’s Freedom Planet onto the Nintendo Switch this month.

Specifically Freedom Planet will be available as a digital download from the Nintendo Switch eShop on the 30th August 2018 for €14.99, $14.99 and £12.99 with pre-purchase being made available later this month.

Freedom Planet is a fast-paced combat-driven platform adventure that pits a spunky dragon girl and her friends against hostile foreign powers and alien attack forces. There’s trouble around every turn, from insects to giant robots to sheer explosive destruction, but players will have a variety of special fighting abilities at their disposal to blast through more than a dozen massive, nonlinear stages.

The campaign may be played through as Lilac, Carol, or the unlockable Milla, each of whom has completely unique gameplay mechanics, an altered story mode in which the selected character takes the lead, and even a few of her own unique stages.

Key Features:

  • Play as one of three characters, each with her own unique gameplay style and abilities.
  • Adventure Mode offers fully voiced cutscenes while Classic Mode replicates that retro platforming experience.
  • Traverse tumultuous terrain with alternate paths, hidden collectables and destructive boss fights.
  • The full, uncompromised experience at home or on the go on the Nintendo Switch.

Freedom Planet will be released digitally onto the Nintendo Switch eShop for the Nintendo Switch on the 30th August 2018 for  €14.99, $14.99 and £12.99. Freedom Planet will also be available to pre-purchase from the Nintendo Switch eShop later this month.
