In Another World With My Smartphone & Drifters UK Blu-Ray & DVD Releases Spotted on Zavvi

Online listings on UK retailer Zavvi have revealed that In Another World With My Smartphone and Drifters will be coming to the UK later this year on both Blu-Ray and DVD. 

In Another World With My Smartphone is rumored to be the next Sony Pictures Home Entertainment release, as part of the FUNimation line-up similar to the recently announed Black Clover & previously released Attack on Titan II and My Hero Academia releases, and is listed as a Blu-Ray and DVD Combo Pack release. Although not confirm the product is scheduled to be released on the 29th October 2018 and in terms of content is expected to be the same, if not similar, to the previous North American release in which the series was presented in both English & Japanese audio formats alongside notable extras such as episode commentaries and textless songs.

Drifters meanwhile was previously announced as a Universal Pictures UK release and is listed as a Blu-Ray and DVD release with an 8th October 2018 release date.. Specific details are not listed on Zavvi but considering the listing price it is possible that Universal Pictures UK are aiming for a Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray and Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release; with each featuring a selection of physical content alongside generic on disc content such as textless songs and trailers.

We can expect to hear more about these releases by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Universal Pictures UK; but in the meantime we’ve got two now anime titles to look forward to from unusual distributors.
