Dragon Ball FighterZ Base Goku & Base Vegeta Announced Alongside Nintendo Switch Beta

Following on from reveals in Japanese news outlets European publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment have today confirmed that Base Goku and Base Vegeta will be the two new DLC Additions to Arc System Works well-received 2.5D Fighting Game Dragon Ball FighterZ. In addition the publisher went on to confirm that an open beta for the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ will also take place next month.
Firstly; the new two DLC Characters, announced as Base Goku and Base Vegeta, are the ‘original’ Dragon Ball Z designs from the Saiyan saga and as such we see Goku sporting his King Kai outfit as well as using attacks such as Kai-O-Ken and the Spirit Bomb. Vegeta meanwhile will wear his iconic Saiyan outfit (yet again from the Saiyan saga) as well as have special attacks such as Galic Gun and Rage Beam Styled attack (i.e. the one which defeated Nappa).
Both characters are expected to be released worldwide next month and will be priced at a samiliar price to previously released content; such as Broly, Bardock, Vegito and Fused Zamasu. Those who own the FighterZ Pass will be able to download the content for FREE once released.

In addition to the character DLC Bandai Namco Entertainment confirmed that the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ will receive an open beta test during early August.
Specific details about this open beta have not been revealed BUT the publisher did reveal that Dragon Ball FighterZ will feature 1v1 and 2v2 battles in addition to the regular 3v3 battles that the game is known for as well as 6-player match types being available to play offline as well as online. It’s not currently known if these features will be add to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC versions of the game.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC; meanwhile the Nintendo Switch version is scheduled for release on the 28th September 2018.
